Our Methodolgy

The GR8 methodology is simple, efficient and delivers results quickly. 

The web design brief – an interactive interview process with your key team members to gather all the information needed to design the website and ensure all necessary resources and assets will be applied. Assumptions will be challenged and confirmed during this phase.

Quotation,  Milestones, Terms and Conditions, Agreement – based on the design brief our team will generate a  project plan, including delivery milestone,  costings, and a custom development and hosting agreement. A communications and change variation process will be document and agreed at this stage. Number of pages, sections and services will be agreed at this stage.

Design – an initial design template will be created and shared with the client. This design can be modified several times at this stage to ensure that style is agreed to by customer.

Server setup & configuration – to ensure we can both development and then deploy the website on a n appropriate server for go-live, we need to ensure that that we set-up the server and configure it to meet customer expectations. 

Content handling – Content for the website will be provided by the customer and a shared drive will be used to transmit and store this content. Images can be provided by the customer or the GR8 Result free licence image service can be searched for appropriate images. The customer can nominate content for each of the agreed pages.

Website development – The website will be developed using content on the shared drive. 

Content lock down and testing – Initial testing by GR8 Result team is followed by testing by the customer. Once the testing is agreed within the set timeframe, the system will be launched.

Launch of Production Grade Website – This is the go-live and the website will be available to the world wide web.

Adwords & SEO – The promotion of the website and customers business can be enhanced by well crafted search engine optimisation flowing from quality and relevant content. This promotion can be enhanced by targeted adwords spend, in some but not all cases).

Support, analysis & promotion – hosting, maintenance, measuring performance, assessing ROI are all critical ongoing tasks that help drive the success of your website and your online digital market strategy. 

Training to add, delete and modify content – once the website is live, the customer will be trained on the use of the website to modify content. This phase provides customers with agency over their most important online resource.

Back-ups – regular back-up are undertaken to ensure business continuity plans are met.
